When we researched bike lights in the mid-90's, we found several weak spots. We made it our goal to continue to improve on the best that the industry had to offer. We pioneered HID lighting in the bicycle market, introduced the battery strap, lead the charge for Li-ion batteries, and developed the break-away mount.

These changes weren't born in a lab, or in some think-tank discussion. They were born on the trail, a solution to a problem encountered during use by the very people who work day in and day out designing these lights.

We've used these technologies to improve the breed. Our lights are extraordinarily robust. The rate of return on our lights is so low that we sometimes have to double check our own math (is the decimal in the right spot?).

We live and breathe lighting. We sweat the details so you don't have to. But to be honest, we don't just do it for you. Since all of us are avid users, we do it for ourselves too.
